The 156-room Hyatt Place Bayamon and 11,200 square-foot El Tropical Casino opened to the public in December 2013. The seven-story hotel tower and adjoining casino and multi-level parking garage is located on PR State Road #167, next to the Luis A Ferre Science Park and Plaza del Sol Shopping Center in the Municipality of Bayamon.

Hotel facilities and amenities include the Hyatt Place Gallery lobby/lounge with Bakery Café and 24-hour Guest Kitchen and dining areas offering indoor seating for around 80 persons, in addition to outdoor seating for 12 persons on the veranda. Other hotel facilities and amenities include 2,075 square feet of flexible meeting space, a fitness center, outdoor swimming pool and free Wi-Fi everywhere in the hotel. The property also features a free standing Applebee’s Restaurant and a multi-level parking garagefor 255 vehicles serving the hotel, casino and restaurant facilities.
